MOUNT BACHELOR is a classic dome shaped, dormant volcano with a summit elevation of 9,068' located outside of Bend, Oregon. It features a vertical rise of 3,365', 4,323 acres of lift-serviced/360-degree skiing terrain, with over 460 inches of dry, light powder annually. Known for a long season lasting through May, it offers high-speed lifts and diverse, mostly treeless terrain.
Bend, Oregon is considered one of the premier mountain towns in the US. It is located along the Deschutes River in the central part of the state where the Cascade Mountains meet the high desert. Known as "Beer City US", it boasts the largest beer trail in the West (Bend Ale Trail) with over 30 breweries. It features a vibrant, walkable downtown and the Old Mill District for shopping and dining. We'll be staying at the HAMPTON INN & SUITES BEND which is located a short walk from the Old Mill District across a pedestrian bridge over the Deschutes river.
There is a limit of two single occupancies on this trip. In addition, a maximum of nine members will be allowed to fly separately from the group.
TRIP INCLUDES:
- Round trip airfare from Bradley International Airport to Redmond Municipal Airport. NOTE: A limit of 9 members will be allowed to opt out of airfare and fly separately.
- Round trip ground transportation by coach bus from Redmond to Bend, Oregon (just 23 miles away!).
- 7 nights lodging in the three-star Hampton Inn & Suites in Bend. Rooms include 2 queen beds, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, 42" LCD TV, hairdryer, and iron/ironing board.
- Round trip transportation from the Hampton Inn & Suites to Mount Bachelor (21 miles away) with 2 departure times in the morning and again in the afternoon.
- Full buffet breakfast daily.
- Welcome reception upon arrival in Bend.
- All taxes and Service Charges.

Lift tickets are NOT included. Mount Bachelor is on the Ikon Pass. An UNRESTRICTED 5-DAY PASS is currently being offered by Mount Bachelor at the low price of $419 for all ages ($84/day). The price is scheduled to increase on 6/3/26.
If you PURCHASE YOUR IKON PASS through our club, you save an additional $25-$100 on this trip depending on your pass level and whether it's your first or second fly-to trip this season. If you purchased an Epic, Epic Local or Epic 5-day pass through the club, you are also entitled to a discount of between $25 and $100 on this trip provided it is your first fly-to trip this season. The discounts can be combined if you purchased both an Epic and Ikon pass through the club.

OPTIONAL CRATER LAKE NATIONAL PARK EXCURSION:
The breathtaking Crater Lake National Park is located just 2 hours from Bend. The lake was formed by the cataclysmic blast of Mount Mazama 7,700 years ago. It is the deepest lake in the US with a maximum depth of 1,949' and features the purest water in the world.
Located in Bend,
WANDERLUST TOURS offers a snowshoe tour of the lake at a cost of $240 per person. Included in the tour is round trip transportation from Bend, snowshoes, a naturalist guide and award-winning interpretation, a deli-style lunch and National Park entrance fee. The date of this excursion is to be determined.
